E-Design: Toward a New Collaborative Exchange of Upstream E-Supply Chain.

Résumé

E-design is one of the latest technological innovations suggested by electronic marketplace (EMP) and software editors, particularly in the industrial environment. Its function is the exchange of technical data in the development of products by offering services based on collaboration among the actors in the supply chain, which is part of the consolidation of the corporate network. The integration in the innovation process provides significant benefits for all stakeholders because they are moving simultaneously toward the same final objective. Therefore, this collaborative environment provides greater visibility across several levels of the supply chain, especially in its upstream phase. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
