Arendt et la question raciale
Résumé
The racial question played a central and ambiguous role in Hannah Arendt's work, particularly in her interpretation of totalitarianism. In the link between imperialism and totalitarianism, and in the commentary on how the racist ideology was structured during the melee for Africa, it makes the race a real starting point for total regimes. But this analysis of the role of colonization in the construction of totalitarianism also goes hand in hand with an underestimation of the role of race in modern history.
