Résumé

This paper explores the particularities of "openness" in Web 2.0 platforms. The originality of these platforms, in comparison to typical NPD as well as to Open Innovation approaches, is to be found in a new phase of development, taking place after the product's finalization. Starting from the experience of the "mashups" and the "APIs", we propose the concept of "open product", in order to contribute at the same time to the analysis of the specific platforms and to the extension of innovation and product management theories.
