Virtual space serving territory and interaction.

Résumé

The presentation is going to describe the state of the art of the INTISC project. The project aimed to offer a registration and cooperation framework for actors and researchers involved in the topics of territorial intelligence, mapping relevant services and projects all over the world. Wide variety IT services are available via the internet. A lot of specific service used in research, needs authentication. If the services offered are connected and use distributed authentication as a cloud, it could multiply the effect of use. The federative authentication in the INTISC project is a base to enable researchers to connect in the field of “Territorial Intelligence”. The distributed system consists of a directory application as a signpost of the research area and the services connected. The Cloud metaphorically contains, but in fact smartly integrates functional and identification services. On the identification side higher education institutions, research institutions, territorial actors and organization members should be involve into the process of knowledge transfer and gain of development. The authorization is an independent federative layer of the system, enabling access of services offered in functional level. The functional services could be provided by any partners, from anywhere world-wide. The functionality usually supports specific research purposes such as data collection, statistical analysis, project management, data mapping, collaborative publication, etc. This project aims to support cooperative knowledge sharing in science and action, theory and use.
