Covid-19: a global demographic break?

Résumé

Early in the Covid-19 pandemic, many were those who believed or hoped it was a temporary phenomenon, a short-lived episode that would soon be over and it then would be back to business as usual, with no lasting consequences. However, this pandemic could prove to have triggered a structural phenomenon in human history, whose potential impact on world demography must be examined.
