Abstract

This article presents a first description of the support verb constructions in Hungarian (SOV, OVS and free-word order language), in particular the constructions with predicative name in accusative case as " lépést tesz" (step make), "döntést hoz" (decision make) according to the definition of M. Gross (1981).
