The Effect of Treatment of Employees on the Level of Work Engagement: School Context
Résumé
Lack of fairness in the workplace creates implications far beyond the emotional well-being of employees. The study determined the correlation between employee treatment and work engagement of the employees of Divine Word Colleges in the Ilocos Region. The related literature and studies were reviewed to establish the premise of the study. All employees were respondents who come from the two colleges located in the locos region. Moreover, the descriptive correlational research design was used. The data was gathered through validated research questionnaires while weighted mean and Pearson r were used in tabulating and interpreting the data. The study found a correlation between employee treatment and work engagement of employees, therefore the hypothesis of the study was accepted.
