Nicholas of Bar's Collection

Abstract

The so-called “Collection of Nicholas of Bar”, preserved in the cod. Paris, BNF, lat. 15850, contains extracts of various Quodlibeta by minor theology masters of Paris University in the late XIIIth and early XIVth Cent. Palémon Glorieux provided an identification of the authors, according to the hypothesis of a chronological ordering of the Quodlibeta. This hypothesis being proven implausible, some idenfications have to be given up.
