Résumé
In this paper, we focus on measuring the effect of discourse structure on sentiment analysis.Using Segmented Discourse Representation Theory (SDRT) as our formal framework,we investigate how rhetorical relations interact with opinions and to what extent these interactions depend on the corpus genre. We propose a two-level annotations cheme : first at the segment level, where each elementary discourse unit is annotated according to the opinion it conveys, and then at the document level, where the discourse structure of the document is built. We conduct our annotation campaignon two French corpus genres: movie reviews and news reactions. We discuss our results and comment our observations.
