The ceramic trade is illustrated by the thousands of ceramics found in wrecks along the coasts of Provence and Languedoc from the year 1000 to the modern era. These data, together with the results of land-based excavations, allow us to draw up an evolutionary panorama of trade flows in the Arab and then Christian Mediterranean, where the market was then refocused and dominated by the two Hispanic and Italian peninsulas
