Modelling fauna movements with agents
Résumé
Landscape features impact on fauna movements as they can correspond to obstacles or on the contrary to corridors. The objective is to characterize, from high-scale geographical databases, spatial elements that motivate or disturb fauna displacements. The paper presents the analyses between animals' location data and geographical data. The results are used in a model for simulating trajectories based on agent approach. An example is described for red foxes movements.
