PUBLIC LANDSCAPE AS COMMUNICATIVE SPACE: EXPLORING THE THIRD DIMENSION OF PUBLIC SPACE
Résumé
This article proposes an analysis of urban public space as a medium of communication, based not only on the physical interconnection of different places in a city but also on the different communicative uses of the urban landscape: street signs, monumental architecture, shop displays and advertisement, street art, protests or parades, all contribute to the representation of public space as symbol of society.
