On the trail of units of measurement in ancient South Arabia
Résumé
Two units of length are mentioned in the Sabaic inscriptions, yet their actual dimensions remain discussed. The examination of three monumental buildings from the late first millennium BC gives an insight into elements of regularity underlying their organization. Crossing architectural and textual information casts a new light on the possible values of these units.
