MUTUAL LEARNING IN ASIA'S ENERGY TRANSITION

Résumé

Energy transition is now considered a necessity for moving towards sustainable development and to improve living standards. This is especially the case in Southeast Asia where energy demand is expected to increase by 50% and electricity demand to double by 2025. The region has not enough fossil fuels to cope with this growing demand and will have to increase its imports which may endanger its energy security.
