The Tragic of Fate: From Oedipus to Rostam and Sohrab.
Le tragique du destin : D'Œdipe à "Rostam et Sohrab"
Résumé
This chapter proposes a confrontation between two tragic narratives: Oedipus and Rostam and Sohrab, recounted in the Shâh-Nâme of Ferdowsi. The tragic aspect of these intertwined destinies is the main thread of this text. This confrontation is placed at the heart of the philosophical interpretation of Freud as proposed by Paul Ricœur, who approaches the Oedipus complex from a new angle and invites us to question concepts such as recognition or guilt.
