Entre Suisse et Soudan. Constitution d'un référentiel de caractères ostéoscopiques chez le mouton Ovis aries Linnaeus, 1758
Résumé
The use of osteoscopic (discrete) characters to analyze the animal populations remains unusual. And yet, the study of these morphological variations in domestic species can supply some elements in the discussion about the appearance and the distribution of the stock-breeding. This contribution enumerates characters identified on the post-cranial skeleton of sheep (Ovis aries Linnaeus, 1758) belonging to the current populations of Sudan and Switzerland mainly.
