Language and enaction
Résumé
Speech is to be considered as a collaborative enactive interface in which two human subjects or more co-determine their relationship with their environment, thus modifying both the world and themselves. This chapter redefines the traditional descriptive categories (lexicon, morphology, syntax) in the terms of a system of sensorimotor actions that are conducive to distributed semiogenesis (internal speech as well as actual communication).
