The conclusion reviews the findings of the chapters in the light of the issues and questions posed in the introduction. The editors assess how the analytical approach employed in this volume to shed light on the neglected area of social actors in Europeanisation processes can contribute to the Europeanisation literature. Finally, the conclusions signal areas in which knowledge is still lacking and point to any ongoing methodological challenges.
