Early Warning Systems and Resilience: A Quest for Equilibrium

Abstract

This communication aims to answer to the following research question: “How can Early Warning Systems support the production activity and make it resilient?” Based on an ethnographic case study, we display that even a simple tool can be helpful for a CEO. We assess that the resilience comes from a well-balanced combination of a qualitative human management and of an analytical system. This equilibrium depends on the fit between the task, the system and the user.
