De " l'économie parcellisée " aux clusters industriels technologiques
Résumé
This paper is based on the field work conducted on the development of industrial clusters in the Zhejiang province. Like other parts of China, today, the Zhejiang Province is undergoing a change in its economic development, shifting towards the new policy of moving from a " compartmentalised economy" to modern industrial clusters. To better understand this economic transition, we rely on the example of Yongkang, a city which is well known for its specialization in metal manufacturing. Our analysis focuses on the transformation of the roles of the political authorities and their intervention in economic management. We also examine the configuration industrial clusters have undergone since the mid-1990s.
