Haudricourt & Juilland 1949 revisité
Résumé
This paper provides a mapping and a revisited taxinomy of Michel Contini's data on phonological patterns in Sardinaian dialects, according to (post)structuralist criteria. Above all, feature geometry is used as a model or a grid to analyse Sardinian consonants from a diasystemic and typological standpoint. Phonological types are proposed on the basis of this taxinomy. This amounts to revisit data for a Romance area a few decades after data recollection, as Haudricourt and Julliand did on Gallo-Romance in the mid-twentieth century.
