ÉTUDE DU GRADIENT THERMIQUE FORET-PATURAGE EN AMAZONIE BRÉSILIENNE : EXEMPLE DE LA SAISON 2013-2014 DANS LA RÉGION D'ALTA FLORESTA

Résumé

The objective of this study is to show the temperature differences between the sectors where land-use varies and thus show the impact of deforestation on climate at local scale. The study site is located in the south of the Brazilian Amazon where about thirty sensors were installed in the forest, in the city and in pastures. The results show that forest areas are generally cooler, mainly due to lower daytime temperatures. Along a transect forest-pasture of about two kilometers gradient phenomenon is not observed, but rather a three class behavior among the stations: those located on pasture were the most homogeneous, due to air mixing in open spaces. In the forest, two classes are significantly distinguishable: cooler stations deep in the forest and those closer to the edge, where temperatures are often higher and adopting, depending on the time of day, their thermal characteristics either from pasture or from the forest.
