Modelagem da ilha de calor urbana para cidade pequena (Rancharia-SP) a partir de imagens do satélite Landsat 7 e de medidas da temperatura do ar.
Résumé
Modeling of the urban heat island for a small town (Rancharia-SP) based on Landsat 7 satellite images and air temperature measurements. Urban heat islands result primarily from local changes in land use. The interpolation of the data often appears as a problem, as the real knowledge of the local climate remains largely obscure in detail, requiring thus a robust statistical and geostatistical treatment applied to a systematic and complex climate analysis that considers qualitative and quantitative aspects. The purpose of this paper is to present the results of the urban heat island (UHI) modeling based on the relationship with land use in Rancharia, a small town, considering temperature measures recorded through mobile transects, fixed points, and Landsat 7 satellite images. The results show that the model was efficient for the estimation of then air temperature and spatial distribution of the UHI.
