The aim of this communication is to clarify the uniqueness of the DSK 's scandal in french political life . I base my purpose on history and sociology of political scandals, as well of media's sociology in order to answer the question: what had changed (and why)? To answer these questions, I first make a point about the french singularity, what the New York Time called “the code of silence”. Then I explain under what conditions this code of silence has been broken.
