Résumé
The Thaenae training site is an atypical but innovative project in the landscape of Tunisian-French cooperation in archaeology. Strictly equal, open to all French and foreign collaborations, and driven by an ideal of pan-Maghrebian development of scientific cooperation, this quadripartite project deliberately favours the training of students and professional trainees of all origins, as well as the enhancement of the archaeological heritage, considered as a possible vector of regional development. At the centre of this project, research focuses on the evolution of the urban landscape of one of the most important ancient cities in southern Tunisia.
